Here we go! Lyrics and video in the first link, but they're really confusing there, so in the second link are properly formatted lyrics.

PARODY OF "PEOPLE WILL SAY WE'RE IN LOVE" from Oklahoma

Students:
Why do you sigh whenever we fly in through your door?

Teacher:
Why do the students gossip all day on ev'ry floor?

Students:
We have a way to fix this, our way is proven true
Here is the gist
A practical list of notes for you

Don't arrive late to class
Don't wait for us to still
You know that we never will
Then we will listen to you

Teacher:
Me? Late?

Students:
You must be kind to us

Well, I rather enjoyed it. I think it's because I'm currently planning on graduating with a Masters in Education, but yeah... I thought it was very funny, and true..

I enjoyed it, but I think that that was mainly because I just finished doing Oklahoma a couple of months ago. And I know some teachers who I could give this to, a hur.

It doesn't even need to rhyme. Smile

Rhyming's a plus, but not necessarily mandatory. There are a great many songs that don't rhyme at all--and you can even turn a rhyming song into a non-rhyming! Smile

I'm going to have to bail at the last second on this. I procrastinated on many things too long and now I have to deal with homework! Auughhh, even in te holidays...

If people are dropping out because of time restraints, I can totally do an extension. (Really, my previous answer to the time constraint was more tongue-in-cheek than anything.) Would a week (or possibly two since I didn't give you a month, but I'd much rather it just be one week) help?
