I believe I did answer the question... unless you're talking about another one that I missed. _________________ Keeper of Nanashi's Vambraces and the Amethyst Trees.

Another question going in a similar direction.
After a Planet has created his Eve, she's basically the sole representative of her species, right?
So how exactly does she end up giving birth and populating the world? _________________

Parthenogenesis. Or magic.
Or possibly, I seem to recall something about all Eves being born pregnant, but I could be making that one up... _________________ Keeper of Tristram's rings, and Felucca's very expressive ears. |

My question was, 'Is cross-breeding possible?' Which, I think, was unanswered. The secondary question with that would be, 'Is space travel possible in any form?' _________________ Self-styled Forum Grandmother, because I hand out nicknames and hugs whether you want them or not. ^_^

Of course, the one instance of potential cross-breeding that would require neither space travel nor a stay on Earthsong would be between Vampires and Minouns.
Based on the fact that both races stem from the same planet, this is probably the most likely crossing to be genetically possible. But due to the peculiar social situation between these two races, it is also the least likely to ever actually occur... _________________

Vampires and Minuons are the same species, (though the Vampires don't like to think so), so don't fret too much about that one
As for cross-breeding between alien species, I'mma go with possible, but not probable. And just like in the Trek universe, even if the two species are compatible, the likelihood of successfully conceiving would be incredibly low. Also, you'd probably end up with a "mule" to boot (meaning that the offspring would be sterile).
Space travel? Sure, though it won't be dealt with in this series outside of Bel bringing his stolen soulstoned children to ES. And whether they could get from one populated planet to another or not I leave up to your imagination (and your understanding of warp mechanics and generational ships)

I think the more important question is with biological ageing disabled how do characters heal? _________________ Never forget,

This occurred to me while I was reading some of the character bios for the Earthsong RPG...
If a guest on Earthsong is snt back to his homeworld, he is transported back to the exact same moment he left, right? So on the home planet it would seem like he had never been gone.
What happens if someone dies on Earthsong?
Is the dead body transported back, so the character would be found dead on his homeworld?
In this case, would the body still display the wounds or other signs of what had killed the character?
Or does the body remain on Earthsong, so it would basically just dissapear on his homeworld? _________________

Their corpses CAN be sent back, and often are (by the same means as the living, ie Siderean powers). So it appears that they died of who knows what because the process, as I believe was decided back in the day, also heals wounds. So the tissue would be healed, but life would not be restored. _________________ Keeper of Nanashi's Vambraces and the Amethyst Trees.

So you either vanish, or have a sudden 'heart attack'. Or other malady, since some of the races don't have hearts. That's interesting to know.
We know wounds are healed, but what about someone who got his/her head or other limb chopped off? Would that heal too?
Of course, it will probably never be relevant, since Earthsong's kid-friendly rating somewhat prohibits rampent dismemberment. _________________ Mors Certa, Vita Incerta.
