I'm reminded by something I used to say long time ago... Referring to the time I went to an eye doctor and he dilated my pupil. After that, I would go around and startle people by getting close and staring intently.

"RAAWK! I am the CAT. Beware of my all seeing sight!"

Watching a baseball game with my dad, and watching all the player spit every few minutes, I said, "You could water the field with all the spit they produce." My dad looked at me funny and said, "You come up with the wierdest things..."

"Things Skippy is no longer allowed to do in the US Army:

Not allowed to threaten anyone with black magic.
Not allowed to challenge anyone’s disbelief of black magic by asking for hair.
Not allowed to add “In accordance with the prophesy” to the end of answers I give to a question an officer asks me.
Not allowed to add pictures of officers I don’t like to War Criminal posters.
Not allowed to purchase anyone’s soul on government time.
My proper military title is “Specialist Schwarz” not “Princess Anastasia”.
Not allowed to ask for the day off due to religious purposes, on the basis that the world is going to end, more than once.
“The Giant Space Ants” are not at the top of my chain of command.
I may not line my helmet with tin foil to “Block out the space mind control lasers”.
If the thought of something makes me giggle for longer than 15 seconds, I am to assume that I am not allowed to do it."

Ah Skippy, trully a marvel of our time.

AsA, according to Skippy's wonderful website

Quote:
Explanations of these events:
a) I did myself, and either got in trouble or commended. (I had a Major shake my hand for the piss bottle thing, for instance.)
b) I witnessed another soldier do it. (Like the Sergeant we had, that basically went insane, and crucified some dead mice.)
c) Was spontaneously informed I was not allowed to do. (Like start a porn studio.)
d) Was the result of a clarification of the above. (“What about especially patriotic porn?”)
e) I was just minding my own business, when something happened. (“Schwarz…what is *that*?” said the Sgt, as he pointed to the back of my car? “Um….a rubber sheep…I can explain why that’s there….”)

To explain how I’ve stayed out of jail/alive/not beaten up too badly….. I’m funny, so they let me live.

Um. Wow. I just read the whole list and giggled my way through every single one. My brother stuck his head in three times to give me weird looks and shake his head in despair. That was hilarious!

Ha! I remember these!

EDIT: Holy cow! This guy went to Ft. Bragg! That's like 20 minutes from my grandma's house (the house shakes when they do bomb testing).

These are all taken from the greatest movie that ever graced a screen!
Plan 9 from Outer Space!

"It's murder, and someone's responsible!"
"It's hard to find something when you don't know what you're looking for"
"Your stupid mind! Stupid!"
"They attacked a town; a small town, but still a town, full of people; People who died!"

If you enjoyed these highly intelligent quotes, I would encourage you to watch the 88 minute movie as soon as possible....

So I was watching TV today, and this is what the Channel 4 news ad said between programs:

"Bones found near a local river. Hear was police have to say about the disturbing find. And - find out if rain will ruin your weekend plans!"

Excuse me - what? Is rain more important than a possible murder case?

Well rain sort of lets plants grow and stuff so I guess in a larger sense it is. Besides you can't do anything about the murder but you can still change your weekend plans. Razz

Haha, our news does that all the time. This is all it will say about world news: There was a bombing in --- today. Meanwhile, find out what police are doing to keep you safe from terrorist threats." Rolling Eyes
And it does it with the usual stuff too. This is why I don't watch the news.
