I have some time to kill in a web cafe in Köln, so I thought I´d show my metaphorical face and drop in a bit of a travelogue. Been whistle-stopping round Europe: Rouen, Lille, Bruges, Ypres, Brussels, now Köln, tomorrow München, then Zürich and probably on to Rome.

*pops up again*

Florence this time. Trips went as planned. Munchen was good, Zurich was chilled, Roma was SWELTERING but very good. Firenze's been decent so far, and we have another couple of days at a minimum to play with.

Brussels didn't appeal much, I'm afraid. Horrible to navigate, horrible accessibility-wise (travelling with my wheelchair-user gf) and tbh lame attractions (what a swizz the mini-europe was...). Sorry to slam it, but it's going on for the worst city we've been to...

You'd think that the capital of the EU would at least have spruced up their public transport accessibility...

The atomium was cool, though.

Last foreign city. Je suis a Paris. It rained most of the day >.< Then a couple o0f nights with my folks before I mosey on home.
